2026 USASA Nationals — Snowboard Grommet (9-10) Girls, full results

Our 2026 Nationals wrap covered the champions across every division, but each division deserves its own look. This is the first in a series — division-by-division deep dives into the 2026 USASA Nationals fields.

We're starting with Snowboard Grommet Girls (9-10) — an age class where careers are still forming, but the standouts are already visible.

The picture in one paragraph

The Grommet Girls division fielded competitors across all six 2026 Nationals disciplines: halfpipe, rail jam, slopestyle, giant slalom, slalom, and boardercross. Thirty-two girls competed in at least one event during Nationals week. The freestyle disciplines (halfpipe, slopestyle, rail jam) drew slightly smaller fields than the racing disciplines (GS, slalom, boardercross), and one athlete — Kayley Warren — went 3-for-3 on the events she podiumed in with gold. Her Grommet Girls halfpipe title, giant slalom title, and slalom title in the same week make her the only 2026 Grommet Girls competitor to take three golds across two disciplines (freestyle + racing).

Every event, every podium

Halfpipe — March 29

The first freestyle event of Nationals week. Warren opened her three-gold Nationals with the halfpipe title. Kennedy Galinski, one of the most-experienced 9-10-year-olds in the country by number of USASA events entered, took silver. Eveanna Kramer rounded out the podium — the start of what would be a four-podium week for her.

Rail Jam — March 30

Kramer's first of two Nationals golds this week. Rail Jam is a discipline where jib skill and creativity matter more than raw amplitude — a good early indicator of park-riding range. Kenzie Livangood and Whitney Bell filled the other podium spots.

Slopestyle — March 30

Kennedy Galinski took her national title here — the same rider who took silver in halfpipe the day before. Kramer's silver made it two podiums in one day for her. Warren's bronze rounded out a podium where all three girls also appeared on the halfpipe podium 24 hours earlier — a strong consistency signal across freestyle disciplines.

Giant Slalom — March 31

Warren's second gold of the week, and her first race title. Snowboard racing (both GS and slalom) is a completely different skill set from freestyle — different boards, different technique, different body position. Doing both well at 9-10 is rare. Fritz and Chamberlain took silver and bronze.

Slalom — April 1

Warren's third gold. Back-to-back racing golds in the two most technical race disciplines — a completely different podium from the halfpipe day. Hutchins and Ustinova hadn't appeared on the freestyle podiums; the racing side has its own field.

Boardercross — April 2

The closing event of Nationals week. Kramer's second gold, closing out her four-podium showing. Boardercross is a discipline that rewards head-to-head racing tactics — different from timed GS/slalom, different from freestyle judging. Kramer added it to her rail jam gold + halfpipe bronze + slopestyle silver for a genuinely all-mountain week.

Multi-event standouts

Fourteen Grommet Girls entered two or more events at 2026 Nationals. Three stood out:

Kayley Warren — 3 golds, 1 bronze across 6 events. Halfpipe champion, giant slalom champion, slalom champion, slopestyle bronze. She's the only 2026 Nationals Grommet Girl who won titles in BOTH freestyle and racing disciplines. She also entered rail jam (6th) and boardercross (4th) — six-event participation with podiums in four.

Eveanna Kramer — 4 podiums across 4 events. Halfpipe bronze, rail jam gold, slopestyle silver, boardercross gold. Every single event she entered produced a podium. Consistency at that level in four different disciplines is unusual at any age.

Kennedy Galinski — halfpipe silver + slopestyle gold + rail jam 4th. Three freestyle events, two podium finishes. She's a name to keep tracking in the freestyle-focused development pipeline.

• Whitney Bell — rail jam bronze + halfpipe 4th + slopestyle 4th (three freestyle events, one podium, close on two others)
• Georgianna Fritz — GS silver + slalom 4th + BX 5th (racing focus with a freestyle backup)
• Kenzie Livangood — rail jam silver (single freestyle podium)

What's next

The 2026-27 season starts in November/December. Every athlete on this list will still be Grommet-eligible for one more year — the age class is 9-10, and the season cutoff means most of them will still qualify. But a few of the older Grommets may age up into Menehune (11-12) partway through next season, joining a slightly deeper field.

Riders to watch specifically:

• Kayley Warren — the multi-discipline model. If she keeps competing across freestyle and racing at this rate through 2026-27, she'll be a rider to track through Menehune and beyond.
• Eveanna Kramer — the four-podium consistency. A profile that translates well as the field gets stronger.
• Kennedy Galinski — the freestyle specialist. Halfpipe and slopestyle are the disciplines that produce Rev Tour and Futures Tour graduates; her results here are the right foundation.
